Online resources for Art Psychotherapy
- British Association of Art Psychotherapists- the professional organisation for Art Therapists in Britain, has useful information about art therapy in practice and links to other sites.
- Arts and Healing Network- a US based online resource celebrating the connection between art and healing. Closed in Nov 2015 but remains as an archive.
- The Mental Health Foundation- charity working in mental health and learning disabilities.
- National Autistic Society- hosts a database of published material on all aspects of autism, open for everyone to access on the web. It lists over 24000 published research papers, books, articles and other materials. There is also a library in Central London open to professionals by appointment only. - NHS Evidence- search engine managed by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE). Designed for NHS staff but useful in wider health and social care. Full text journal articles may require subscriptions but there are many links to full text reports and guidelines.
- SANE- information, support and research charity for mental illness
- Sigmund Freud papers- a digitised collection from the Library of Congress. Most of the material is from the period 1871 to 1939.
