Library databases
The library subscribes to over 200 databases. We subscribe to both subject-specific and interdisciplinary databases and whilst most databases provide full-text journal articles, we are subscribing to more databases that provide online audio or video content, as well as other types of information.
For off campus access, log in with your Goldsmiths IT/IS username and password.
Note that staff and students who join Senate House Library have remote access to their wide range of web resources.

Partially in Library Search - International Bibliography of Social Sciences (IBSS) This link opens in a new window(1951 – current). Coverage includes: anthropology, cultural studies, demography, education, ethnology and ethnography, politics, religious studies and sociology.

Covers the international literature of sociology and related disciplines in the social and behavioral sciences. Indexes thousands of journal titles and also includes books, book chapters, dissertations, conference papers and working papers. Cited references are included for many journal articles.

It provides a breaking news service as well as sections on careers and qualifications, management, funding, policy and legal issues. It also has blogs from a number of children's sector professionals and a forum for practitioners to interact and debate key issues.

All are freely available online.

It contains current and historic legislation and case law and has a very searchable journals index with many key titles in full text.
