The amount that you can print or copy from an ebook varies by book and is set by the publisher.
Printing and copying are limited for ebooks on ProQuest Ebook Central, VLeBooks and EBSCO. Downloading parts of the ebook counts towards your print allowance.
The print and copy allowance for each ebook are displayed on the ebook’s title screen and from the side menu within the online reader.

From the online reader, the print icon is located on the top menu.


For ebooks in PDF format, to copy text, select the arrow on the top menu to enable the cursor to make the selection.

Typically, you may print up to 40% of a book and copy up to 20%. Downloads to PDF count towards the print allowance. The allowance resets after 24 hours.
From the online reader, the download, copy and print icons will either be located at the top or bottom of the page (depending on the format of the ebook).


You may print and copy from a downloaded ebook in Adobe Digital Editions unless the publisher has restricted these features.
To view the book’s print and copy allowances, from your Library in Adobe Digital Editions right-click on the book and select “Item Info”.
