Most ebook platforms will allow you to download a chapter as a PDF either via a link next to the chapter on the contents page, or after you open the chapter. PDF chapter downloads do not expire.
Due to copyright restrictions set by publishers, there are limits to the percentage of an ebook that may be downloaded on ProQuest Ebook Central, VLeBooks and EBSCO. Chapter downloads count towards your print limit for the ebook and the allowance is displayed on the ebook’s detail page.
On VLeBooks the download allowance is displayed under the “Read Online” and “Download” buttons.

To download a chapter, click “Read Online”. You will need to enable popups on your browser. From the online reader, click the “Print” button on the top right menu.

Select the page range that you want to download and click “Print”.

Select “Save to PDF” as the destination.

On ProQuest Ebook Central the download allowance is displayed under the “Availability” information and the allowance refreshes every 24 hours.

To download a chapter, click on the “Download PDF” link next to the chapter under the Table of Contents.
