Once you have undergone a machine-specific induction you can book both the 3D Printer and the Sewing Machine for up to four hours at a time. If you find you need the equipment for longer please contact library(@gold.ac.uk) or visit the Help Desk.

To use this machine, ALL users will need to undergo an induction. To sign up for an induction, please email library(@gold.ac.uk).
You will be able to book up to four hour slots. You will need to borrow the loan pack from the library helpdesk, which includes the pedal for the sewing machine. Although the calendar only allows booking from 9 am to 9 pm, we are trialing an overnight option, where if you book the sewing machine up to 9 pm and need to continue using it past staffed helpdesk hours, you may keep the loan pack overnight and return it to the library helpdesk within an hour of opening the next day.
Library helpdesk opening hours are:
Mon-Thurs: 9 am-9pm
Fri: 9 am-7pm
Sat-Sun: 1pm-6pm
