Open Access: GRO and GOJO

The Goldsmiths Library's introduction and overview of Open Access

Goldsmiths Research Online (GRO)

Goldsmiths Research Online (GRO) is Goldsmiths’ institutional repository, providing Open Access to Goldsmiths research. It holds research publications and other research outputs created by academics at Goldsmiths. The repository also holds Goldsmiths' collection of doctoral theses.

The repository is intended to provide long-term, public, free access to these materials to anyone in the world with an internet connection. The url for GRO is http://research.gold.ac.uk.

Goldsmiths academic staff and PhD students are able to login using their campus credentials (the same username and password for your Goldsmiths email) to add details of their research. You do not need to sign up. If you are a staff member or PhD student, you have default log in access.

Please click here to view the Goldsmiths Research Online (GRO) video deposit guidelines for articles.

For Goldsmiths academic staff, GRO is the source of the full list of your research outputs displayed in the publications tab of your departmental staff profile on the Goldsmiths website. The other sections of your staff profile are administered by your department, together with Communications.  For questions about the other sections of your staff profile your first point of contact is usually your departmental administrator.

Goldsmiths Journals Online (GOJO)

Goldsmiths Journals Online (GOJO) hosts Open Access journals and conference proceedings for research groups and academic communities at Goldsmiths, University of London. Each journal listed runs on the Open Access software Open Journals System (OJS). Goldsmiths Journals Online was set up in 2009.
