- NSPCC- National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.
- Centre for Policy on Ageing- includes a library and information service based in London EC1.
- CAFCASS- Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service.
- National Elf Service- a service for health professionals in a number of fields, including mental health and disability, providing information on the latest evidence-based research findings. It is a membership service but much content is freely available.
- Social Welfare PortalThe Social Welfare Portal at the British Library allows searching and access (much free, apart from journal articles - use Goldsmiths catalogue or Senate House for access) to key UK resources in the areas of: children and families, older adults, disabilities, minority groups, community development and regeneration, welfare benefits, social services, offenders and the criminal justice systems.
